You control Tom and your job is to collect more mice than Jerry. To make things more hectic, there is a timer and there are various power ups like bats and frying pans.
Cheese is everywhere and Jerry is on a mission to get it all! But Jerry must be careful as Tom is on the prowl. Help Jerry race through fun-packed levels collecting cheese while avoiding Tom in this classic game of cat and mouse. Use power-ups and everyday household objects to help Jerry stay one step ahead. Always keep an eye out for Tom and his friends though as they will be hot on your tail!
Tom and Jerry in Infurnal Escape is a cartoon game with a rather complicated plot: In an attempt to catch Jerry, Tom pulls the carpet which Jerry is standing on. But instead of Jerry, a piano comes down and crushes Tom. Tom is sent to hell, where a big red dog puts him in a cauldron to cook him. Fortunately, a fairy-cat appears and offers to help Tom escape provided that he has to go back to the living world and collect as many golden bones as possible. That's where the game begins, with hidden golden bones, funny looking but tough enemies, and the annoying little devil Jerry who tries to make Tom's life miserable or aids the enemies.
Players control Tom, in order to collect golden bones and get to the goal while fighting against enemies on the way. Tom can also collect helpful items such as bat (boots hitting power), cheese (distracts Jerry), and Tom's head (Adds one life). There are a total of 15 levels. Players must go through all of them to reach the final boss: the devil dog. When Tom has no more lives, he is sent back to hell, where he has to get his 3 lives back (with 2 minutes limited) to return to the living world and start the level over again.
This game offers sidescrolling beat em up action with cat and mouse due, Tom and Jerry. Based on the direct to video film of the same name, Jerry gets a prized magical ring stuck on his head which Tom was charged with guarding. 10 levels of enemies must be fought off to release it.
Re-create the classic slapstick of the cartoons using a multitude of household items such as bats and plates, all capable of causing damage they were not designed for. Fight wacky boss characters, including Droopy the Dog, playing a mystic seer in his first ever videogame appearance.

Control Jerry as he bounces food from the fridge into their secret stash. You'll need quick reactions and steady hands to get all the fruit, cheese and cakes into the box without dropping any. But don't worry if that sounds too tough; mixed in with the food are some power-ups that will make the job easier! When playing the game press 4 to move Left and 6 to move Right. If your phone has a joystick or D-Pad, this can also be used for movement. Bounce all food into the basket to complete the level.
Watch out for Tom as he will throw bombs at you and be sure to collect power-ups for special features. During the bonus game press left (4) when the meter is in the left yellow section and right (6) when in the right yellow section.

Up to Their Old Tricks
In Tom and Jerry, you play as Tom in a one-player game or as Tom or Jerry in a two-player game. It's a basic run-n-jump game, where you must avoid certain obstacles to progress to another stage. You have a variety of objects to throw, such as Footballs and Light Bulbs, and blocking your way are falling pots, breakaway floors, the occasional Wrecking Ball, and more.
Sound familiar? It is. In Tom and Jerry -- Frantic Antics, all the standard cartoon humor is there, but the fun is gone. There are too few hidden areas and even fewer surprises (although the Wrecking Ball might make you twitch). You take out enemies by throwing objects or by running and spinning, literally bowling them over. It gets boring after a while.
Straight from the Tube
The graphics in the game don't suffer as much as the game play. The backgrounds and characters look exactly like the cartoon, and all movements are smooth and clean. The music is a snoozer, although it tries to stay chipper and upbeat. However, all the sound effects are as clear as you would want. As for the controls, you have to land your character on some pretty tricky spots. Getting it right will keep your tail standing straight up.
You can hop on anything solid in this game: garbage cans, park swings, and even telephone poles. Remember: You need projectiles (Footballs, Light Bulbs, and so on) for hard-to-beat enemies.
Antic-climatic
T & J won't exactly bore you to death, but it will make you drowsy. The repetitive game play, bland enemies, and frustrating controls add up to one word: rental.
